2013 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup - Race Car

The new 2013 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is based on the Porsche 911 series production model– a pure-bred sports car that offers an exceptional level of power and yet our engineers were able to raise it even further. How? By fighting hard for every kilogram saved and every kilowatt added. Thanks to the weight-optimized modular racing exhaust system, the 3.8-litre flat-six engine of the new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup now produces 338 kW (460 hp). The power of the engine is transmitted to the rear axle by a racing clutch and a newly developed Porsche six-speed sequential gearbox with mechanical slip differential. 2013 Porsche Cayman

The 2013 Porsche Cayman is tuned to produce 275 hp and 213 lb-ft of torque from its 2.7-liter boxer-six, which is 10 hp and 7 lb-ft more than the Boxster. Next is the 3.4-liter six-cylinder in the Cayman S with an output of 325 hp and 272 lb-ft, a bump of 10 hp and 7 lb-ft compared to the Boxster S. Performance numbers include an estimated 0-60 mph time of 5.1 and 4.6 seconds for the base and S models respectively (equipped with Sport Chrono dual-clutch automatic PDK). EPA-rated fuel economy on the 2013 Porsche Cayman has yet to be announced, but the 2013 Boxster’s mileage ranges from 22/32 mpg city/highway in base-engine PDK trim to 20/28 mpg in manual-transmission Boxster S trim.

Exterior

Porsche calls its new Cayman a completely new model, but its "significant" changes aren’t that obvious. You need a really keen eye to notice the difference between the old and new, either way you will just say: "Well, this is just a Cayman!"

The 2013 Cayman is built on an extended wheelbase with shorter overhangs that help improve its aerodynamics.

Up front, the Cayman has received new cooling air intakes with integrated four-point daytime running lights. Yes, these will be the only elements that will help you identify the new Cayman viewing it from the front. For the rear, Porsche did a few more updates, including a new boot-lid made from aluminum, an LED brake light at the upper edge of the rear window and a new rear spoiler that deploys at a steeper angle.

2013 Toyota 4Runner

Drive train configurations include rear wheel 4x2, part-time 4x4 and full-time multi-mode 4x4 with a locking center differential. All models are equipped with a 4.0-liter, 270-horsepower V6 teamed to a five-speed ECT-i automatic transmission. For 2013, the SR5 grade gets a switch-type control for the transfer case, replacing the levers

The 4Runner combines rugged body-on-frame construction with suspension technology that yields ride comfort more often associated with car-based platforms. The 2013 4Runner is available in a variety of configurations and in three models a well equipped SR5top-of-the-line Limited, plus a Trail grade for maximum off-road capability. Optional third-row seats allow for up to seven-person capacity.

 Performance and Efficiency
The 4Runner 4.0-liter V6 generates 270 horsepower and 278 lb.-ft. of torque. Dual independent Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) optimizes torque across the engine’s operating range. Fuel economy ratings rival some car-based SUVs with an EPA-estimated 17 mpg city and 22 mpg highway for 4x2 models, and 17 mpg city and 22 mpg highway for 4x4.  Maximum towing capacity is 5,000 pounds, with 4Runner’s standard integrated tow hitch receiver and wiring harness.

Handling and Ride
A double-wishbone independent front suspension, combined with a variable-flow rack and pinion steering, help give the 4Runner precise control on demanding roads. Coil springs over gas shocks are used at all four wheels for a comfortable ride and controlled handling. The four-link rear suspension minimizes axle hop and assures a smooth ride for rear-seat passengers.
